This article presents an overview of feminist theater collectives, focusing on two key questions: why they are formed and what themes shape their dramaturgy. To understand their motivations, thoughts, and activities, five collectives, one from each region of Brazil, will be analyzed. Engaging with feminism, discourse analysis, and cultural studies (Elaine Aston, Mikhail Bakhtin, and Stuart Hall), the text views playful activities, derived from the cultural mediations (Martín-Barbero) conceived by these collectives, as a form of resistance against the oppression of women.

Este artigo apresenta um panorama dos coletivos de teatro feminista, com foco em duas questões-chave: por que se formam e quais temas moldam sua dramaturgia. Para compreender suas motivações, pensamentos e atividades, serão analisados cinco coletivos, um de cada região do Brasil. Dialogando com o feminismo, a análise do discurso e os estudos culturais (Elaine Aston, Mikhail Bakhtin e Stuart Hall), o texto considera as atividades lúdicas, derivadas das mediações culturais (Martín-Barbero) concebidas por esses coletivos, como uma forma de resistência à opressão da mulher.
