The prevalence of obesity is increasing worldwide, seems not only an epidemic, but an abnormal physiological representation, and a natural response to the practices of the modern world. In this context, this study was aimed organize and verify the applicability of the contents of metabolic cycles on body composition, sleep and physical exercise. It is observed that the quality of sleep as the practice of physical exercise may modulate rhythmic metabolic cycles, there was this behavior in several studies with various hormones. Results pointed to the inclusion of parameters related to quality of sleep and regular practice of physical exercise not only in the treatment of obesity, but also in cases of diabetes, metabolic syndrome and other diseases, because they demonstrated to have influence on the accumulation of adiposity body and the circadian regulation.
