Objective – To analyze the professional profile of the graduates of physiotherapy of a private college in Teresina-PI. Physiotherapy is a health science that studies, prevents and treats intercurrent functional kinetic disorders in organs and systems of the human body. This profession has been occupying a very broad place in the labor market in recent years due to the diversified fields of action that physiotherapists are inserted. Despite these advances, graduates who left school shortly still face several difficulties to work in the labor market. Methods – The study is a descriptive cross-sectional study with the participation of graduates of this faculty from the years 2012 to 2013. The research was carried out with 86 Physical Therapy graduates who, after signing the free and informed consent form, answered a questionnaire prepared for. Results – The research, containing 06 closed questions that dealt with: areas of performance of graduates, whether they are performing postgraduate studies. Conclusion – The results indicate that 71% work in Physical Therapy, among the areas, the one with the highest performance is home care, and 46% work in at least two different areas.
