Objective – To evaluate the level of physical activity in cerebral palsy in patients within the Sports Therapy program of Hospital das Clinicas, characterizing the results with an improvement in their quality of life. Methods– It is a cross-sectional study with the application of standardized questionnaires, classifying nine of the sports therapy in relation to the level of physical activity using as tool the International Physical Activity Questionnaire, to later obtain data regarding their quality of life, making use of the Short-Form 36 questionnaire, and then forming a database to be presented in the form of tables. Results – Quantitative data from the International Physical Activity Questionnaire characterized the sample in more than 50% in physically active and demonstrated high levels of functional capacity, vitality and other domains of Short-Form 36. Conclusion – The sports activity performed in Hospital Sports Therapy of the Clinics showed good results in relation to the level of physical activity and quality of life of its participants.
