Resumo (EN)
Objective – To present data referencing the mapping of the different species of fish present on Maria Tuca State Park’s lake, located in the city of Tatuí/SP. Methods – There were eight different collecting points around the lake. Fishing nets and a strainer were used to collect the specimens. Results – In total 513 specimens were caught and they are divided in 4 orders, 7 families and 8 species, one of the specimens being Oreochomis niloticus an exotic species that could be a threat to the ecosystem. Conclusion – This paper is focused on defining new preservation strategies for the lake and the local ecosystem.
