O presente artigo investiga territorialidades urbano-comunicacionais do Parque Minhocão e seu entorno, localizado na cidade de São Paulo. A pesquisa justifica-se pela forma em que as questões sociais e culturais estão relacionadas neste território à gentrificação, tendo como objetivo compreender as tensões e contradições entre a imagem de uma cidade acolhedora na parte superior e a realidade social na parte inferior do elevado. A metodologia empregada envolve a realização de revisão bibliográfica e a utilização da etnografia como abordagem de pesquisa permitindo uma compreensão mais aprofundada das dinâmicas e das experiências vivenciadas no território do Parque Minhocão.
Resumo
This article investigates the urban-communicational territorialities of the Minhocão Park and its surroundings, located in the city of São Paulo. The research is justified by the way in which social and cultural issues are related to gentrification in this territory, aiming to understand the tensions and contradictions between the image of a welcoming city above and the social reality below the elevated highway. The methodology employed involves a literature review and the use of ethnography as a research approach, allowing for a deeper understanding of the dynamics and experiences lived in the territory of the Minhocão Park.
