Women have been penalized as the formal work for many years in the history. They have assumed an important role in family income, a fact that increases in times of economic crisis and reduction of jobs. In the current Brazil, 36.4% of women are entrepreneurs or are linked to some entrepreneurial activity. This article aims through research, features present in women known to have this entrepreneurial profile, pointing virtues and failures in business management. Through descriptive exploratory research will be sought-women who are the owners own business, analyzing demographic data, type of project and knowledge management for the company's management. Data were collected by survey on online social networks aired and processed in MS Excel ® software. The results showed a significant level of knowledge in both years of study, and in enterprise management. The survey was conducted in Teresina, Piauí, Northeastern region with massive female activity.
