This work focuses on an approach of criteria and procedures for the composition of the cover of Época magazine and how the joumalistic and publicity language interact, suiting joumalistic and publicity criteria. We wi/1 a/so see how the professionals responsible for the production process of the cover, main page of this joumalistic product, behave when facing issues as handling information to encourage the practice of consumption among the magazine readers. This project a/so proposes to describe how the relationship between joumalism and publicity works, as both have the role of informing but differ in the goal and importance of how the news is communicated on print joumalism, as a combination of images and texts, making that readers get the message through the means provided.
