This research tries to show us how is the construction process of identities and communities beginning from the internet. lt is about the concepts of a new technologic and culture model, the "cyber culture", and it analyses religious communities on the internet, more specifically, the "Comunidade Presbiteriana Chácara Primavera" web site.
Chácara Primavera is a church from Campinas, São Paulo, which availables on internet, since 2001, the messages lectured on the weekly adoration. From this content, people around the world started to interact with the church web site and the local community. Some aspects like the time and space dislocation, the configuration of new communities, the loss of freedom and the search of security are discussed in this research. The bibliography is based on writers like Bauman, Giddens, Castells, Kall and Alberto klein.
