The objective of this research is to identify the narratives of the Chamber of Deputies’ politicians at the moment they vote on the admissibility of the impeachment process of President Dilma Rousseff (PT), on April 17, 2016. For this, the study will analyze how the television media collaborates for the construction of the image of the politician, and also the speech mechanisms of these political agents, their spectacular and opportunistic statements, which allow them to demarcate their position within their field of action. The study brings the identification of the federal deputies and their votes, very unconnected with the motto of the process, but in accordance to the image they intend to project and to be absorbed by the media. Still, it will contribute to analyze and interpret how the convergence between the narrative of federal deputies and the formation of the political and party image that the political agents represent is established. To do so, the study will be based on the Bardin content analysis methodology.
